C.A.R.E.S. provides Catholic daycare and pre-school classes on the St. Rita Parish campus. C.A.R.E.S stands for Communications, Activities, Readiness, Enrichment, and Support. Daycare is offered year-round, Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM for all children from the ages of 6 weeks through 13 years old. Unique to C.A.R.E.S is our flexible drop-off and pick-up times that can easily accommodate a parent's varying daily schedule
Pre-school classes begin at age 3. Two-day or three-day per week programs are offered for three year old children. Four-day or five-day per week programs are offered for four year old children. All preschool classes begin in September and end in May. Morning classes meet from 9:00 am to 11:30 am, and afternoon classes meet from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
3 Years Old – Goals
- Develop personal health and safety habits
- Establish an introduction to music and art
- Foster growth in their love for Jesus
- Develop large motor skills
- Establish socialization skills
- Early language development experience
4 Years Old – Goals
- Develop self-confidence
- Introduce beginning shapes, colors, letters, and numbers
- Develop fine motor skills
- Establish rules and routines needed for a successful school experience
- Celebrate their place in God’s family, the Catholic community
